It looks like Passions is going to be canceled again, this time on DirecTV's channel The101. Liza Huber (Gwen) announced the news on her message board a few days ago.

I can't say I'm surprised, especially if it's due to low ratings. From what I read elsewhere, not a lot of Passions fans switched over to DirecTV or wanted to pay to watch the show on NBC's website.

I'm not surprised either. NBC sending Passions to DirecTV seemed to be more of their nice way of canceling the series without actually canceling it more than anything. It's a shame it had to go.

I know, what a shame. Even though the majority of the storylines drug on for years, a lot of the characters where fun to watch on the screen.
