Meanwhile, Principal Hickey tries to find a photographer for school yearbook picture day when the original one gets pink-eye.

The Unusual Suspects: When the Hazelnut Otter Statue goes missing, Principal Hickey rounds up "The Usual Suspects", Milo, Dieter, Pepper Ann, Trinket, and Nicky, who all point the finger at Pepper Ann as the culprit.

In Support Of: When Coach Doogan announces that the upcoming trampoline lesson in gym class requires students to have supports, Pepper Ann miscontrues it as a sign that she needs a bra.

Quiz Bowl: Pepper Ann is chosen to be the alternate to Hazelnut Middle School's Quiz Bowl team, and takes advantage of the free trip to the championship, but when Nicki is unable to perform, Pepper Ann must step in and cram in order to win.

License to Drive: When Pepper Ann overhears that her nerdy 15-year-old cousin, Ned, is going to get a "sweet set of wheels" for his 16th birthday, Pepper Ann kisses up to Ned so she can win the chance to ride in a high schooler's car.

Career Daze: Everyone in school takes a career aptitude test and spends a week following the career choices projected from the results of the tests.

G.I. Janie: Aunt Janie becomes addicted to a violent video game called "War Monger" while studying the effects of video games on young minds.

The Telltale Fuzzy: Pepper Ann finds a money clip containing $50 in it and uses the money to buy a Fuzzy black velvet painting, but soon feels guilty about spending the money instead of seeing if the money belonged to anyone and becomes a Good Samaritan.

Remote Possibilities: Nicky and Stuart's hobbies get in the way of their relationship, so Pepper Ann suggests that they take up each other's hobbies, so they do them together--which only succeeds in driving the two apart even further.

Considering Constance: A mousy girl named Constance Goldman begins idolizing Pepper Ann so Constance herself can be more self-confident and assertive.

In this parody/homage to "Freaky Friday", Pepper Ann and her mother, Lydia, switch personalities on the night a comet passes by Hazelnut. In order to switch back, the two must spend the entire day in each other's shoes to see who has it tougher.

Nicky's older sister Becky returns from college to stay with Nicky and her family for the week. Nicky is excited at first, but Nicky begins to overshadow Nicky's achievements.

The Great Beyond: When Steve the cat is diagnosed with a pancreatic infection that may be fatal, Pepper Ann tries to find the truth about life after death.

Jaybirds of a Feather: Moose joins the Jaybirds (a Girl Scouts-esque group) and Pepper Ann wants to be a Jaybirds mentor--but learns that she never got her final badge and has to re-enlist to earn all of her badges back.

The One with Mr. Reason: Pepper Ann petitions the school to get rid of Mr. Reason, a stern wood shop who teaches the kids to apply themselves.

Sense and Senselessness: Pepper Ann is asked out by three guys, right before the school's dance, and uses advice from a dating book (which works against her).

Forging Ahead: Pepper Ann is tired of her mother treating her like a child, so when her mother refuses to let her get her ears pierced, she forges her mother's signature,

Reality Bytes: Pepper Ann has to use her computer for a report, but she becomes addicted to it, and won't leave her room.
 
55 :05x03 - Carmello / Strike It or Not (Sep/23/2000)
Carmello: Its time to disect a frog, and Pepper Ann is excited, since she dreams of being a Nobel Peace Prize-winning scientist. So to prepare, she barrows one from her teacher to study, but she bonds with him, and can't bare to disect it, let alone disect any frog.

Strike It or Not: The school board refuses to give the staff any money for coffee, and won't fix the broken staff materials, so the teachers go on strike. Pepper Ann feels as if her prayers have been answered, but then, she realizes that the school board are revoking extra-curriculum activities, such as soccer. Pepper Ann quickly joins the picket group, but they are going no where.
Meanwhile, all of the rest of the students are hanging out at Trinket's house for a pool party, with the exceptions of Nicky and Milo, who are sending letters to the school board to help out the teachers.
 
56 :05x04 - Complementary Colors (Nov/04/2000)
After a school assembly about how every vote counts in elections, and how who you pick for the school president is important, Pepper Ann decides to run for president. But Alice Kane sees this as an oppurtunity to one-up Pepper Ann, and decides to run, as well. At first, its a friendly competition, but Alice Kane starts to 'revise' Pepper Ann's posters, making her look stupid. It ends up turning into a huge competiton, complete with commercials, the works! And the two end up making up lies, as well!

57 :05x05 - The Merry Lives of Pepper Ann (Nov/05/2000)
After accidentally going to the Renaissance Fair, Pepper Ann believes she's traveled back in time. While there, Pepper Ann becomes Lady Gwen. Once she finds her way out, she learns that its just a fair. But she still liked being there, which causes her to go there--repeatedly. Soon, she stops paying attention in class, and blows off her friends and chores altogether to go to the fair.
 
58 :05x06 - A Is for Average / Alice Kane Went Down To Calcutta (Nov/06/2000)
A Is for Average: Pepper Ann takes a quiz in a magazine that tells her she is average. Pepper Ann takes this the wrong way and believes that she is unoriginal.

Alice Kane Went Down To Calcutta: Alice Kane is forced to move because her father doesn't have enough money to stay in Hazelnut. So Alice Kane decides to call a truce, but Pepper Ann becomes paranoid and thinks that Alice Kane is setting her up.
 
59 :05x07 - Spice of Life / T.G.I.F (Nov/12/2000)
Spice Of Life: Pepper Ann is competing in the school fundraiser, in which students sell spices to the neighborhood. Every year, Pepper Ann is shot down by an attempt to sell Old Lady Gruber some spices, and asks her if it would kill her to be nice for once. Pepper Ann is speechless when she finds that Old Lady Gruber has died, and that she's the secretary, Vera's mother!

T.G.I.F. It's Friday, and Pepper Ann hasn't studied for her science test that is worth a chunk of her grade. So, P.A. decides to fake sick, using her fake vomit recipe. Pepper Ann decides play around instead of studying for the test, which she decides to put off until Sunday, but the next day ends up being Friday -- AGAIN! Pepper Ann is delighted that she can do anything she wants, make mistakes, etc, and none of it will count in her life because tomorrow will be Friday again. But the sharade grows old, and Pepper Ann realizes that she must take the test to put an end to the madness.

Dear Debby: Pepper Ann believes that Aunt Janie is writting to a newspaper column called "Dear Debby" about how she's feeling lonely. So Pepper Ann starts to (attempt) to bond with Aunt Janie, against Janie's will.

Too Cool to Be Mom: Pepper Ann learns that Constance's mom, Denise, is actually cool. So she tries to convince her friends, and herself, that her mom is cool, as well.
 
61 :05x09 - Moose in Love / Two's Company (Nov/14/2000)
Moose in Love: Moose falls in love with her friend, and they become a couple. But when Moose's mom and her boyfriend's mom meet, it turns out that they are sworn enemies, and Lydia refuses Moose from ever seeing him again. So Peppie plays match maker for Moose by helping them see each other privately.

Two's Company: When Milo and Gwen Mezrow break up, and Nicky and Stewart break up, Pepper Ann decides to not hang out with Milo and Nicky. So, when Gwen and Stewart see Nicky and Milo hanging out, they'll think that they are a couple, and become jealous. All is well, but Pepper Ann becomes lonely...
 
62 :05x10 - Zen and the Art of Milo (Nov/15/2000)
Pepper Ann becomes angry at Milo for transferring from Hazelnut Middle School to a new art school, named Half-Zen Academy, which causes them to end their friendship. But soon, Pepper Ann begins to miss Milo, but won't admit it. And the same effect happens to Milo.
 
63 :05x11 - Unhappy Campers / The Search for Pepper Ann Pearson (Nov/16/2000)
Unhappy Campers: Pepper Ann, Milo, and Nicky are caught by Principal Hickey breaking the rules. So they are sent to a boot camp-like camp that's set in the wilderness. They are supposed to go on a hike in the forest, equipped with a compass, a cell phone, a map, and a bag of trail mix. Pepper Ann loses the compass, and replaces it with a toy compass, which doesn't work. With the compass being a fake, following it resulted in them getting lost. Nicky doesn't trust Nicky and Milo with the cell phone, so she holds on to it, and forgets it at the cabin. All hope is lost, especially when a squirrel steals the trail mix. The gang end up getting into an argument and go their separate ways.

The Search for Pepper Ann Pearson: Its the first day of spring, and Pepper Ann is in detention, as usual. So she tries to escape, and falls into the Chess Club room. For fun, Pepper Ann plays a game of chess, and beats the chess champion. The chess champion can't stand for it, and calls for a rematch. He is beaten every single time. Now, he's begun doing things he hates to try and find something else that he's the best at, since Pepper Ann, unbeknowest, stole his position.

64 :05x12 - The Word / The Perfect Couple (Nov/17/2000)
The Word: Pepper Ann sees a word on a wall in the bathroom and, afraid of being embarassed for not knowing the definition, uses it in conversation with Constance, who is also afraid of embarassment, so she pretends to know the definition as well. And pretty soon, the whole school is using the word, but no one knows what it means.

The Perfect Couple: Everyone believes that Nicky and Stewart are the perfect couple, but they are planning to break up, at their anniversary, no less.
 
65 :05x13 - The Finale (Nov/18/2000)
Its the future, and its time for Pepper Ann's 10 year school reunion. Pepper Ann is now an educational toy designer. We find that she hasn't kept in touch with her old friends. When at the reunion, she realizes she wrote a humiliating letter to go in the time capsule. Now that its time to open it, she's got to get it out before its read. So she decides to get Nicky and Milo for help.
