With a week to go before their softball game in the league championships, Larry thinks that his team is going to win it all. However, when Balki tells him that the star player is taking his family on vacation the same weekend as the game, Larry starts to scramble to find a suitable replacement. Larry gets into a big predicament when Balki talks him into playing on the team and Mr. Twinkacetti wants to bring in a ringer. When it comes down to the final inning of the game, Larry has an attack of conscience and decides to let Balki have his chance at playing in his first baseball game.
