Pete travels with Petrocelli and Maggie to the biggest rodeo in San Remo where Gage Hurley, Pete's friend, appears as a clown. When a rodeo horseman is discovered murdered in his trailer, Hurley surprisingly admits his guilt . Petrocelli accepts the defense and notices quickly that with Hurley nothing is what it seems.
