Episode Notes

This teleplay was later made into a movie in 1962 starring Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster, Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Richard Widmark, and Montgomery Clift. Maximillian Schell and Werner Klemperer would reprise their TV roles in the movie version. Schell won an Academy Award for Best Actor.
