Episode Notes

This episode marks the end of an era for the series, it was the final season to be filmed in the States before moving to New Zealand, as well as the last season to be filmed by MMPR Productions, the company that was created to run the show since it's inception.

This was intended to be the final episode of Power Rangers, as Disney felt the series had proved too costly in recent years. However, PR veteran producer and writer Doug Sloan and his partner Ann Austen convinced the company to reconsider their decision and give the go-ahead for an eleventh season

At the time, pre-production of the eleventh season had already begun. This season is reportedly known as "Power Rangers Ninja Force", though it is also referred to in certain circles as "Power Rangers Hexagon". This was to have followed up on plotlines left over from Forever Red and would center more on Tommy's history since leaving the series, revealing more about his ties to other Ranger groups through his Illuminati-esque organization "Hexagon". Tommy would have come into conflict with the Phantom Ranger in this season, triggering a cival war between various Rangers past and present.

Veteran Rangers were to make an appearance, encircling the team that would be based on the group featured in Hurrianger. When Disney made the decision to cancel the series and lay off much of MMPR Productions, the script-editor for WF and the proposed "Hexagon" series, Amit Bhmuik, was let go. Amit to this day harbors a personal resentment of many of Disney's PR seasons, and was a vocal critic of Power Rangers Dinothunder, which sub sequentially featured a premise close to the original intent of "Hexagon" (Tommy with unspecified ties to former Ranger groups helping out the current generation)
