This show is about the story of Matthias, a very overeager mouse whose destiny is to folllow in the path of Martin, a legendary warrior of Redwall Abbey. In the first season, he learns how to be a brave young warrior, and must learn how to fight Cluny the Scourge, a rat whose goal is to destroy Redwall Abbey. Cluny has stolen the image of Martin, which has given him a lot of power over the mice, and Matthias must find a way to get it back.
In the second season, he marries a girl named Cornflower, and together they have a boy named Mattimeo. He gets kidnapped by Slagar the Cruel, a fox whose intent is to destroy Redwall for allegedly killing his mother. Matthias must find a way to get his son and all his friends back from him, and in order to do so, he enlists the help of some other creatures who have helped him with the fight against Cluny.
The third season was basically about the tale of Martin, a story where he came from and how he got to Redwall, and saving it.
