	Robin Hood (Robert of Huntingdon) [Series 3], played by Jason Connery Summoned by Herne the Hunter to be his son, heir to Robin of Loxley, Robert of Huntingdon was the son of the Earl of Huntingdon until one day Marion came to the castle. Instantly he fell in love with her, and when Lord Owen of Clun kidnapped her to be his bride, Robert gave up all the he knew and sought the merry men and united them to save her. Try as he might, he could not help but replace Robin of Loxley. Soon, everyone called him Robin as opposed to Robert, the Earl's son who was dead in his heart. But try as he might he could not get Marion's hand in marriage. Just when he thought he would be able, and the banns had been read, Marion believed him to be dead. Despite the fact that it wasn't him and the following day he came to pick her up, still she could not accept returning to a life not knowing if her beloved would live or die. Thus, downtrodden, Robin returned to lead his merry men in the never-ending battle between light and darkness.
