A group of Templars on their way to Lincoln have a precious item stolen by a random thief. When this thief is found momentarily in the company of Robin Hood and his men, the Templars believe it was stolen by them. With a hostage, the Templars demand the return of their icon by morning, or else the hostage will be hanged. With a race against the clock, and unsure of what the Templars want, Robin Hood must discover what they want and where it is.

| Farleigh Hungerford Castle, on the border of Somerset and Wiltshire, was the location for Nottingham.

The Knights Templar or Poor Knights of the Temple of Solomon, were a group of knights who, despite taking a vow of poverty, were a very wealthy and influential order. Although a monastic order, their job was to protect pilgrams on their way to the holy land, and fought along side King Richard, the King of England (1189-1199).
