Jimmy agrees to watch the baby so that Beth can have a night out with the girls. However, Jimmy's quiet night in isn't so when his buddies crash his pad to hold a bachelor party for Kevin.

In an attempt to bond with other couples with babies, Beth invites over a man whom she met at her baby yoga class... though she's shocked to learn that he's one half of a gay couple. Meanwhile, Jimmy invites Carl over to watch the game, then proceeds to ignore him as he bonds with his new gay friends.

Beth is annoyed when she learns that Jimmy neglected to tell her that he can't pass a drug test because he smoked pot at a poker game, but she changes her tune when her neglect leads to baby Otis getting a bump on the head.

After making on-air jokes about the radio station management, Jimmy and Carl find themselves bumped to the graveyard shift.

Jimmy and Carl encourage their listeners to have a "zorch contest" (lighting their own gas on fire). When this results in many listeners ending up in the hospital with singed sphincters, Beth fears that she'll be blacklisted from her Mommies group.

Jimmy and Beth throw a dinner party for their friends, not knowing that baby Otis has pink eye. Their timing couldn't be worse, since the infection is caught by everyone the day before a photographer arrives to shoot Jimmy and Carl for a magazine article on the Hottest People in Denver.

Jimmy, Carl, Beth and Otis go to Aspen for a DJ convention. Initially disenchanted by Otis, Carl changes his tune when a pretty woman takes a liking to the baby. Meanwhile Jimmy finds himself continuing to spar with his rival, Danny Bonaduce.

Pam and Beth attend a stripper class after hearing the teacher on Jimmy's show. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Carl accidentally lock themselves in the bathroom while trying to baby-proof Jimmy's apartment, leaving Otis unattended in the living room.

When Jessica Alba makes an appearance on The Jimmy and Carl Show, she comes on to Jimmy, not knowing that he's married. He turns down the Dark Angel star, but Beth becomes enraged when she realizes their night of passion was tainted by his fantasies of Alba.

When Beth meets Jimmy's old girlfriend, she's shocked to learn that he once proposed to her and was shot down... but most distressing to her is that he proposed with the same engagement ring that she now wears.

Jimmy is heartbroken when he acquires the pinball game that he played when he was a teen, but has to part with it because Beth wants to turn his office into Otis's nursery.

Beth and Jimmy land jobs as hosts of a Denver morning show, but Jimmy soon feels that his on-screen antics may be bad for his shock-jock image.

Carl's sister Chloe comes to town, igniting a war between the siblings. Meanwhile, Otis is up for a part in a music video that Chloe's producing, but Jimmy has his reservations about letting his son appear when he learns that Otis will be in drag.

Beth is ecstatic when her parents come to town, thinking that they'll want to spend time with Otis. However, her folks do everything they can to avoid spending time with the baby.

Jimmy and Beth try to set up Carl and Pam. Meanwhile Jimmy's grandmother babysits Otis, but after seeing how she tends to him, Jimmy and Beth have second thoughts about leaving their son alone with her again.

Jimmy seeks an escape from his family by taking part in a rooftop radio-thon, but he's disappointed when he misses Otis's first word. Meanwhile Beth tries to get Pam to stop flirting with men since she's dating Carl.

Jimmy agrees to host a charity auction to get Otis into a prestigious school, but the school's mascot, Auggie the Octopus, seems to have a vendetta against Jimmy. Meanwhile Carl repeatedly attempts to tell Pam that he loves her.

The Cox's go on vacation with Pam and Carl, and recall how they met.... and dumped their significant others to be with each other. Meanwhile, fussy Otis drives the other airplane passengers crazy.

Beth learns that her apprehension about spending time with Jimmy's brother Mark was unwarranted.

Beth and Jimmy try to get some alone time, but new couple Pam and Carl make this increasingly difficult.

Otis's first birthday is ruined by Jimmy, who tries to create the illusion of the perfect party for the video camera. Meanwhile, Pam and Carl break up and try to one-up each other by arriving at Otis's party with impressive dates; and Kevin frets because it's his birthday too, but he's not the center of attention.

After Pam gets fired from her nightclub gig, Beth acts as her agent and tries to land her a contract. Meanwhile, Carl fasts on "the master cleanser program," but quickly finds he lacks energy.
