When Darlene seems to be nothing but a gothic couch potato, Roseanne begins to interfere in hopes of bringing her back to her former athletic self. Meanwhile, Becky fights the losing battle to get a moped that was traded-in to Dan's shop.

Darlene experiences major character development, switching from the athletic bratty hyperactive younger version to the older, more depressed sarcastic version. Darlene seems to be fairly apathetic towards everything, except certain aspects, such as her now-proclaimed vegetarianism and such.
