| 1 :01x01 - Pilot: Second Sight (1) (Jan/09/2000) | | DCI Tanner's team is assigned to investigate the case of Matthew Bendrix. A 19 yrs. old university student who was brutally murdered outside his family's home. When Tanner begins to have bouts of blurred vision, even to the point of causing him to crash his car on the way to the crime scene. He decides to seek answers to his newly developing problem, while leaving DI Tully to continue on with the investigation. Tanner is diagnosed with AZOOR (Acute Zonal Occult Outer Retinopathy), an untreatable virus that almost always results in complete blindness.
