Serpico

Serpico

Police drama based on the hit movie of the same name about the adventures of an undercover New York police officer named Frank Serpico. David Birney took over the title role from Al Pacino on the small screen. Unfortunately for NBC, on which Serpico aired, the series was not a hit with viewers the way the movie had been and it was dropped after a half season and only 15 episodes.
