Jeffrey Knox, who plays Rowley, is a friend of Jimmy Nail's and was talked into letting Jeff playing a blagger in this episode. Jeffrey later went on to appear in Crocodile Shoes I and II as Jed Shepperd's (Jimmy Nail) friend Omo.
