  Episode Goofs
The barbed wire surrounding the Red Skulls territory was only around one foot tall in comparison with Hiawatha Smith with he jumps over it. Did the Red Skull really expect that to slow down invaders?

When Spider-Man swings into the ship to kick the Red Skull, the Red Skull just stands still, instead of moving, even though it took around five seconds to kick him.

  Cultural References
Visual: Spider-Man swinging by web in jungle like vines.

Spider-Man: Aaaahhhh aaahhh aaah!

Spider-Man: Me, Spider-Man. You, Firestar.

These are all references to Tarzan, Lord of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Edgar has made many sequels to the book, and many authors have made their own take on Tarzan, as well. Many movies have been made about Tarzan, most recently Tarzan by Disney. The movie spun-off the series The Legend of Tarzan.
