AFTER SEEING VENOM and Carnage stowing away on John Jameson's flight to counter-Earth, Spider-Man goes after them, but when they escape, and his ship goes down, he is blamed for everything. So he gets a space shuttle to get him back and clear his name, but he ends up staying on Counter-Earth, to join the resistance against the High Evolutionary, who plans on taking over the Counter-Earth. On Counter-Earth, beastials (part human, part animal) are seen as first class citizens, while humans are seen as second class.

Spider-Man Unlimited ran for one season, with a total of thirteen episodes. It ended on a cliffhanger, with its last episode being "Destiny Unleashed (1)." It was supposed to have been resolved, but FOX ended the show early to produce more episodes of Digimon: Digital Monsters.

Although this series was cancelled, it is still has a small fanbase for it.

Angered by the constant defeats, the High Evolutionary starts a massive crackdown on the human resistance. He threatens to systematically destroy all human homes unless Spider-Man and the rebels surrender to his forces.
