Spider-Man hyjacks a space ship to try and stop Venom and Carnage, who have stowed aboard the ship to Counter-Earth, a planet on the exact same orbit as Earth on the other side of the sun. When he fails, and the pilot, John Jameson crashes, everyone blames Spider-Man.
