Episode Notes |
| |
The theme song for Spider-Man played in this episode. Meaning that this could in fact be a sequel. | This is Mary Jane's only appearance. | Mary Jane is played by Jennifer Hale in this Spider-Man series. In the previous series, Jennifer Hale played Felicia Hardy (The Black Cat). | This episode features the only appearance by J. Jonah Jameson. He is not voiced by Edward Asner in this series, though. | This is Rino Romano's first work playing a superhero. He will later play Batman in WB's The Batman. | This episode shows the first appearance of Spider-Man's original costume, which is only seen one more time in the series in a flashback. Also seen for the first time is Spider-Man's nano-technology suit. | Venom and Carnage make an appearance, but if this series is a sequel, then it's never told how they escaped from the portal that they were trapped within in the episode "Carnage" of Spider-Man. |

Episode Quotes |
| |
J. Jonah Jameson: (about John Jameson) That's my son. Here that, Parker? I've always said John was a hero, haven't I?
Peter: You sure have Jonah. About 50 times in the last minute. | Guard: Stop Spider-Man, surrender!
Spider-Man: Sorry gentlemen, I don't do "surrender." |

Spider-Man's Web Between His Arms
This accessory was not on the Spider-Man costume for the 1994 series. The webbing was on the original costume for Spider-Man in the Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1. The fact that this webbing is there might mean that this series is not a sequel to the previous Spider-Man series. | Spider-Man: ...straight from the labs of Reed Richards!
This is a reference to Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic, the leader of the Fantastic Four. Reed Richards is extremely brilliant, and can stretch to unknown lengths. |
