Spider-Man's first vision of John Jameson on Counter-Earth.
Spider-Man meets the Knights Of Wundagore, a group of beastials, part animal, part human. He then encounters The High Evolutionary, the leader the beastials. He plans to take over the planet. When Spider-Man is saved by the resistance, he finds out there leader is John Jameson! John explains he's staying to overthrow the The High Evolutionary, and make humans and beastials able to live amongst each other in society.

It may be an inside joke that the voice actor who plays Lady Vermin (who is attracted to Spider-Man), also played Mary-Jane (who is married to Peter) in the first episode.
| In addition to his powers Spider-man also possesses a suit composed of state-of-the-art technology, including "spider-stingers", invisibility, and a built-in sonic weapon, which resembles Batman Beyond which aired during the same time period.
| In this episode, Spider-Man says "kill", and word, that was not allowed in the previous Spider-Man series, with the exception of "Sting Of The Scorpion."
