1 :01x01 - Why Spy?

Lorne Cash, former CIA agent opens a bar named "The alibi" and decides to get out from the game. But an ECHO agent, named Max London informs him, that his mentor, Adam Quill is dead and that he is the only one who can help the agency to find out who killed him. At that moment a group of men try to kill Lorne but Max helps him. Micah Simms, ECHO's director, assigns Max and Lorne to the mission. Together they find out that Quill is not dead and that he wants to kill the President using a bomb called "The Eradicator". This bomb kills only living organisms and is very powerful. They check the house of the man who created it but are caught. They face death but survive. Than they go to the plane that will be flying over the President's party and stop Quill to kill the President and his guests.
After that Lorne is assigned as Max's partner, even though he doesn't like partners. He will have to learn to work in a team and have confidence in someone.
2 :01x02 - With Friends Like These
Shank has to choose between his mother's life and Lorne's one. If he doesn't kill his best friend in 8 hours his mother will die in great pain. Max find out that the man who whants Lorne dead has totured him in Russia. Lorne whants reveange and doesn't whant Max, the best partner he has ever had, in this mission. But Max decides to help him. Toghter, they save Shank's mother's life, but Max is captured and will possibly die in great pain, but Lorne can not allow this and saves her.
5 :01x05 - You Just Can't Trust Anyone These Days
General Sam Wellish hypnotizes Max and makes her kill the President. But before Max kills him, Lorne discovers that she has been manipulated. He helps her to find out what hap pend. But General Wellish hypnotizes her again and she has to kill Lorne this time. he manages to survive but is arrested for taking part of a conspiracy (the same Wellish put Max into). He escapes and saves the Presidents life by risking to be killed by his partner.
