State of Grace

Hannah Rayburn & Grace McKee are two twelve-year old girls growing up in the '60s. Hannah comes from a middle-class Jewish family. Grace is Catholic, rich, and lives with her divorced mother. Hannah had just moved to Chicago, from her small-town in North Carolina, and became best friends with her neighbor - Grace. Grace was very extroverted, and Hannah was more shy. They both were very intelligent. Almost fourty years later, Hannah reflexs on her friendship with Grace, and remembers the best time of her life.
