Static Shock (Change Layout)

"Static Shock" Summary

Virgil Hawkins was a fourteen year old, ordinary kid. He had a few friends, Richie Foley, and Frieda Goren. But a school bully, Francis, a.k.a. F-Stop, bullied him, but a kid named Wade stood up for him. So after school one day, Virgil is cornered in an ally, where F-Stop beats him up. Wade tells him to join his gang, so that F-Stop won't dare bully him again. Virgil disagrees, but Wade tells everyone he joined, so Virgil goes down to the docks, to set him straight. As soon as Virgil gets there, he is given a gun, and told there is going to be a gang war. Once the war starts, police shoot knockout gas, which colides with experimental gas already there. This forms a gas that changed everyone there, and in that area. With Virgil being the good, he becomes a superhero, by the name of Static, but the trouble is, everyone there were thugs, so they become criminals.
Static Shock featured crossovers with Batman, Superman, the Justice League (with the exception of Wonder Woman and Superman), Green Lantern, Robin, and Batman (of the future). There were also famous celebrities who made appearances, such as Shaq, Lil' Romeo, Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, and AJ McLean (of the Backstreet Boys), to name a few.
Static was joined by his best friend Richie, who became Gear, after some of the Bang Baby Gas rubbed off on him. He was a super-genius, who invented weapons and gadgets to fight crime along side Virgil/Static. They were also joined by Shenice, a.k.a. She-Bang, who was a meta-human (not a Bang Baby), with acrobatic skills, and super-strength.
Static Shock ran for 4 seasons, with 52 episodes total. That was not to be the end of Static Shock, though. Static later appeared on Justice League Unlimited in the episode "The Once And Future Thing", but he was 65 years old.
