Analysis |

Karen Quits...and still wins!
During the speech segment of the Mother-Daughter pageant, Karen exposes Howard and his son as sleaze bags and says VERY clearly that she quits. Meaning there's no way she could have won even with the changing of the rules at the very end to an audience vote. Regardless of who the crowd wanted it should not have been allowed due to the simple fact that Karen quit the pageant in disgust. The other Mother-Daughter combo should have been given the crown(s).
But this is SBS, the place where intelligent, reality based plots go to die. But even in this world there should have been some kind of explanation as to how Karen (and Carol) was still allowed to win. But nothing was explained and to be truthful most people probably never considered this. But that doesn't excuse the plot hole or the reason for doing it. |
