Dana's running for student class President and as it turns out she isn't the most exciting of candidates and that draws JT into the race. With Frank and Carol remaining neutral (for three seconds or so). The race soon has the Foster-Lambert clan divided along family lines.

| Michael Dukakis Carol refers to the failed former Democratic nominee for President of the United States in 1988 when assuring her daughter that losing in the polls doesn't mean anything. Dukakis is famous for having a fairly large lead in the polls leading up to Election night only to lose rather easily to his opponent, George H.W. Bush.
