Episode Notes

The director of this episode, Mark Linn-Baker is most famous for his role as Larry Appleton on the ABC sitcom Perfect Strangers. An interesting side note is that Bronson Pinchot (Baker's co-star on Strangers) would later join the cast of Step by Step.

The writer of this episode, Richard P. Halke, would take over as the full time editor in Season Three and would have a character named in his honor when Jason Marsden joined the cast at the end of Season five.

Episode Quotes

Karen: Just how much of our money did you lose?
Mark: Well, if I had to round it off to actual dollars and sense. Everything!

Cody: Man it's really snowing out there, you can't see two feet in front of your face. Course I can't figure out why anyone would wanna see your feet in front of your face.

Dana: It is me or did it just get dumb in here?

Cultural References

Michael Douglas Cody referenced the actor when talking to the kids about their greed when wanting him to invest their money on Wall Street. Of course Micxhael Douglas also starred in the 1987 movie, Wall Street, which is still remembered as one of the best performances of his career.
