Episode Summary

Dana organizes a feminist study group and is hesitant to let Cody join until he's voted in by the other members. She soon realizes that most of the group are more interested in dating Cody than listening to her ideas on how to make the world a better place for women.

Meanwhile, Carol drags a reluctant Frank to a health spa and Mark ends up on the loser wall at the fall dance until he's picked up by one of the school's hottest chicks.

Episode Quotes

JT: (to Dana) Give it a rest Barky. Nobody wants to come to your stupid feminist study group. I mean how many angry chicks with hairy armpits and hiking boots can there be?

Al: (about Mark) Oh look, it's the Goodyear wimp.
Mark: For your information I'm getting pumped up for the harvest dance. Check out my massive biceps.
Al: Mark, you do not have biceps. You have linguini with fingers at the end.

Mark: Mothers lock up your daughters, Mark Foster is on the prowl.

JT: Hey Mandy, baby.
JT: Hi JT.
JT: How's it's going.
JT: Good. Am I interrupting anything?
JT: No, nope, just a meeting of the future gym teachers of America.

Cody: Greetings thought lovers, sorry I'm late but in my continuing quest to become gender neutral I spent the day down at the National Organization for Women. I got my membership card, monthly newsletter and a handy pamphlet on how to give yourself a breast exam.

Cultural References

Ken: The Ken of Ken and Barbie fame. Referenced by Dana.

Hootie and the Blowfish: Cody invited one of the girls at Dana's feminist meeting to a concert by the popular 1990's band.

Bridges of Madison County: Cody also had a date with another of the girls at the feminist meeting with plans to see this movie. Based on a 1992 novel by Robert James Waller it was turned into a successful movie starring Clint Eastwood.
