Jerri has now back at Flatpoint High, where she tries become more popular by having a party at her house. First, she must try to get the popular girl, Poppy Downes, to go so everyone will. So Jerri makes a drug for Poppy that eventually kills her. Will Jerri come clean?
As part of an assignment in Health class, Jerri is given the responsibility of caring for a baby who she names Dizzy. At first, it isn't so bad for Jerri, but she then realizes she can't handle it and ends up being partnered with Tammi Littlenut.
Jerri is casted in the school play, "A Raisin in the Sun", but must first deal with her alcoholic stepmother.
Jerri is fitted for braces, and no one is nice to her at all. Except for her locker mate, Kimberley, who Jerri is forced to snitch on because she is believed to be retarded. Otherwise, she can't go on the school trip to Good Time Islands.
Jerri develops a crush on the new kid, but must keep it at secret from anyone who hates the thought of a new kid in school. That makes it a whole lot tougher for the two to attend the School dance together. At the end, a secret is revealed that will change their relationship forever.
A racial slur is spray painted on the school wall, and a student, Paul Cotton, is the prime suspect. Jerri decides to befriend him and make him feel better about the whole situation.
Jerri wants to try out for the debate team, but her eating disorder makes it tougher. So she must find a way to lose some weight fast.
Mr. Noblet discovers Jerri's ability to play the violin, so he takes her under his wing and overworks her, not only for the Music fair, but to live his dream of playing the violin.
Jerri attempts to become Homecoming Queen, so she must learn the rules. One rule is the inner beauty, which she pretty much lacks but tries gain it and beat her only opponent.
After receiving a D on her History test, Jerri is convinced that she can past Freshman year and move onto Sophomore year. But then she begins to hang out with a beautiful female stoner, and begins to revert back to her old ways. Right before her History final.
Jerri is out of Jail, and is now doing her freshman year all over again. In Health class, Jerri decides to reclaim her virginity. As she tries to fight her instincts of having sex, she attempts a date with a horny Senior named Drake.
Jerri meets a blind kid and offers to be his friend. After inadvertently making fun of him, she decides to put on a blindfold and see what it's like to be blind. Meanwhile, the blind kid wants to play for the football team, but the others won't have it.
Jerri tries to find out what her dream job is, instead of taking the easy street as a worker at the fake flower shop. Meanwhile, Jellineck decides to quit teaching to pursue his dream as an artist.
Jerri's father is mauled by dogs, and is killed. Jerri has a hard time handling it, since she never really got to know her father. This also means she can't participate in the parent child sack race.
Jerri wants to become a cheerleader, but she can't because she never learned to read. So Noblet unwillingly teaches her. Meanwhile, a guy named Glen who used to be a bus driver wants to take a shot at it again, but he must learn how to drive first.
Jerri accidentally runs over Mr. Jellineck and his whole face comes off. Jerri must make sure no one finds out it was her. Meanwhile, Noblet has a tough time dealing with this accident.
Jerri must participate in fake marriage for Health class, with a boy named Ronnie. However, they have a bit of difficulty working together, especially since Ronnie has a girlfriend. Meanwhile, Coach Wolf and Jellineck also participate in the fake marriage, much to Noblet's dismay.
Feeling that no one cares about her at all, which is pretty much true, Jerri decides to join a cult, where she makes new friends.
Principal Blackman, Noblet, and Jellineck kidnap Jerri from the cult and makes her realize that she shouldn't join it. Noblet seems to think different though.
Jerri wants to go rich girl Melissa's party, but she must try to find a way to come up with money so she can buy a pair of very long-laced shoes called Flairs. Orlando also has a party on the same night but everyone, including Jerri, decides to go to Melissa's.
Jerri and her new boyfriend Jared have been picked Lord and Lady of the school dance while working on the committee. But when a guy Jerri had sex with one time told her he got syphilis from her, she goes to the doctor and indeed has it. She then learns she has given it to Jared, but she's afraid to tell him. Meanwhile, Jellineck must deal with a cold sore he and Noblet both have on their faces.
It's Freedom week, and Jerri expresses her freedom by putting a nude picture of herself on the school wall.
Jerri learns she has Native American heritage. So she decides to learn more about her roots.
Jerri wants to make out with her boyfriend at her school's Make out night.
Jerri asks Stew to come talk to her class about meat, and he accepts. But she's just learning that Stew is a nutcase who needs help.
Jerri is not pulling her own weight on the track team, she just seems interested in the tub afterwards. So she begins to take steroids to improve her speed, and even gets the other girls to do it.
Jerri wins the job as working for the advice column which was rightfully Jellineck's job. But she soon gives some pretty bad advice.
Jerri wants date this boy she likes, but she fears he may not be interested after he finds out Jerri is being sexual harrased by some of the boys.
A transfer student named Edie Harley shows up at Flatpoint and begins terrorizing some of the girls. When Jerri steps in, she gets called out to fight Edie after school. Meanwhile, Jellineck has some bully problems as well with the substitute teacher who bashes homosexuals.
In the series finale, Jerri finally gets a chance to become popular with the help of the popular girl named Fran. But she must ditch her friends to gain more popularity. Will she make the right decision? Meanwhile, two people come to Flatpoint and decide to turn it into a Strip mall, and it's up to Principal Blackman, Noblet, and Jellineck to stop them.
