Darkseid, voiced by Michael Ironside
Bio: Darkseid is the tyrant ruler of the hellish planet Apokolips. Determined to find the so-called Anti-Life Equation to control all living beings, he chose planet Earth to enlarge his military advantage. Initially he acted through his minions as the secret sponsor of Intergang, supplying their agents with Apokoliptic weaponry. When he thought that time had come, he invaded Earth and confronted Superman face to face. Thanks to the intervention of Orion and the New Gods, Darkseid was forced to flee and give up his intentions of conquering Earth. However, before his departure, Darkseid murdered Dan Turpin in cold blood leaving Superman and the citizens of Metropolis with a taste of a bittersweet victory.
Aware that he could never conquer Earth, now that it was under New Genesis protection, Darkseid decided to destroy it. |
