The wife of Dave's best friend from the Korean War shows up at the office. His friend was believed captured and assassinated by revolutionaries, but his "widow" claims she sent him money years after he was allegedly killed. The search for his old Air Force buddy leads Dave through a group of exiles who think he is working for the dictatorship they fled.

The boy puts the note to Dave on the driver's side front seat, but when Dave gets in the car the note is on the passenger's side seat.

The Little Show was a 1929 play, the first of 11 plays to feature the songwriting team of Howard Dietz and Arthur Schwartz. The two songs Cha Cha sings in this episode, "You and the Night and the Music" and "Dancing in the Dark," were both written by Dietz and Schwartz.
