Owen Crawford's career is destroyed when the crop circles and landing strip he maintained were irrefutable evidence of extraterrestrial invasion turn out to be a prank. His sons rally around him, but both have hidden agendas - especially journalist Sam, who heads for Alaska to find out more about the aliens. Jesse Keys returns from Vietnam as a broken man hooked on heroin and haunted by the past .
