A con artist and his girlfriend plan their next caper by tricking some southern boys into thinking there is oil underneath a cemetery. The con woman pretends to murder the conman in front of the group of men who fronted the money, and he is buried in the graveyard. But when she goes to dig him up, she finds that she has been tricked and the conman is in with the townsfolk. While standing in the freshly dug grave, the woman finds that she really has struck oil, and her cigarette causes them all to go up in flames.
