"That's My Bush!" Summary |
| |
A brilliant man deserves a brilliant sitcom.
That's My Bush! was a short lived comedy, created by the ingenious minds of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker. The show is about the current US President, George W. Bush, who lives in a sitcom version of the White House, along with a comedic version of Dick Cheney, Laura Bush, and many others. George continually gets himself into hysterical situations while facing controversial issues like the death penalty, foreign affairs, and abortion. No matter how bad things start to look for the President, he always finds a way out of trouble.
Only lasting 8 episodes, That's My Bush! was pulled by Comedy Central because "the cost per ratings point was just too expensive." Drawing influences from several classic American sitcoms, the show itself tackled many real-world issues and had a refreshing look at politics, during a much simpler time.
