Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers, voiced by Casey Kasem
Shaggy is Scooby's best friend. Since the beginning of the Scooby-Doo series, Shaggy and Scooby had something special between them: a great friendship that will remain through the years.
Shaggy often plays the role of the coward one with Scooby. He is scared of a lot of things, but he seems to get over his feelings and face the monsters and ghosts when it's necessary without needing a "bride" as Scooby does.
Shaggy loves eating. He isn't picky about the food; in fact, if he is hungry he is able to eat anything. However, it seems that Shaggy has a preference for big sandwiches. You can often see him eating them.
Since the gang has to face real ghosts, Shaggy isn't very useful for the gang in this series. In fact, he released the 13 ghosts with Scooby, unleashing a terrible force and risking the world. However, he does his best to fix his mistakes. |
