Brisco finds himself pitted against another of Bly's gang: riverboat gambler Brett Bones, who means to control all the wealth in town, and who murdered Wylie Turner's brother. They can't touch him legally because he owns too many Louisiana politicians. To get justice Brisco can't use firepower or the law, so he'll need to use brainpower.
