	Ellie Walker [1960-1961], played by Elinor Donahue Elinore 'Ellie' Walker is the niece of Mayberry pharmacist Fred Walker. She is a pharmacist herself and has taken up residence in Mayberry to assist her uncle. Ellie becomes Andy's steady date. Ellie appeared in twelve episodes during the first season.
