Hi, Emmy! A few taints in this episode preclude me from recommending it for child viewers. First, customers at a restaurant are seen smoking and drinking. Some parents may not want their children to witness these adult behaviors. Secondly, Mrs. Sprague is the classic domineering mom who keeps her son tied to her apron strings in devious ways. Personally, I don't think young children need to see negative images of mothers on TV. Third, the episode rehashes age old stereotypes about "sissies". Mrs. Sprague's 40 year old son Howard is described as a mama's boy who throws a baseball like an old lady, a loner, a "funny fellow", strange, and not interested in pretty girls. I believe most adult viewers would interpret such innuendo to mean Howard is possibly homosexual. This is adult material. Kids don't need it. Pass on this one, Emmy!
