Don Knotts and Frances Bavier won Emmy Awards for their work in TAGS. Knotts won five for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, in 1961-63, 1966 and 1967, the last two for guest appearances. Bavier won one for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 1967. That same year, the show received its only nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series.
