Along with "Beer" and "General Hospital", this is one of only three episodes of the series in which Rowan Atkinson, Tony Robinson, Tim McInnerny, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and Miranda Richardson all appear. However, they all also appear in Blackadder: Back & Forth together.
| Tim McInnerny (Lord Percy Percy), Stephen Fry (Lord Melchett), Miranda Richardson (Queen Elizabeth) and Patsie Byrne (Nursie) leave the regular cast in this episode.
| Rowan Atkinson (Blackadder) and Tony Robinson (Baldrick) only share two scenes in this episode, the first and last scenes.
