The Champions are assigned to test the security of a NATO vault to see whether it is truly impregnable.

What they are not told is that the vault is programmed to kill any unauthorised personnel.

When Richard discovers the secrets of the most important file held in the vault, he is kidnapped by agents who are desperate to find out what the contents are.
