Molly Dodd, a divorced working woman attempts to succeed in Manhattan while dealing with the assorted characters in her life.
Molly Dodd is newly divorced, fast approaching 35, and trying hard to live a "meaningful life." NBC's new Thursday night drama/comedy, The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, stars Blair Brown as a contemporary woman. Says Brown: "Molly is trying to get her life together after a divorce, trying to get a career going, trying to cope with family and friends. She is struggling like women everywhere." Along the way, Molly has to deal with her sympathetic mother, Florence (Allyn Ann McLerie); her musician ex-husband Fred, who's still very much part of her life; and Davey (James Greene), a philosopher/elevator operator who can never get his elevator level with the floor.
