Carlton: For 30 treacherous minutes I stood alone at the corner of Rexford and Olympic.
Will: Carlton, that's Beverly Hills.
Carlton: Yeah, the bad part... 90210.

This is a nod to the popular primetime TV soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210 that followed the lives of a group of teenagers living in the posh star-studded Southern California community of Beverly Hills. 90210 is an actual zip code in the city, and the show made it the most famous zip code in the world. The show's main characters had all sorts of problems, such as, drinking, gambling, arresting, cult, drugs, rape, miscarriage, and marital problems, which is why Carlton said it is the "bad part" of Beverly Hills.

Will: First of all, Benson, I ain't gotta ask nobody for permission.

Benson was a spin-off of the popular program Soap that premiered in August 1979 and ran from 1977 to 1981. Robert Guillaume resumed his role as Benson DuBois the butler who moved from the home of a wealthy family to a butler's position in a governor's mansion. Through his service, Benson kept saving the governor from political blunders, managed both the political and domestic staff, and helped raising Katie, the governor's daughter. Benson was regarded as the source of composure, wisdom and warmth, but also of. In Benson, its title character was promoted from butler to state budget director, and finally, to lieutenant governor. Will called Geoffrey of Benson, because (of course) he is a butler.

Carlton: You made me miss Fonzie.

Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli (a.k.a Fonzie) was a character in the American sitcom Happy Days. He was very popular for his "cool" attitude, his skills, wisdom, and sexual attractiveness. In the first season of Happy Days, the Fonz was an extremely minor character, but in later seasons his role evolved to a great extent that made him one of the most memorable character from the 1970's TV shows.
