Mark Helmore is a new student from England who has become of the object of the young affections of Candy Muir. The latter is so smitten she can hardly speak. Candy does her utmost to impress Mark by challenging him to a series of athletic endeavors -- even to the extent of a boxing match. However, it's the former who goes home sporting a shiner. It seems that puppy love never runs smooth. In order to set Candy's heart at ease, Carolyn and the Captain offer their advice and assistance.
