NBC, the network which aired the original series The Golden Girls did not pick this spin-off up, therefore resulting in it's placement on CBS.
| After outstanding petition by many Lifetime TV fans, the network agreed to air the rarely seen season of Golden Palace.
| The opening song to this series is a remix of The Golden GIrls opening, "Thank You for Being A Friend", sung by songwriter Andrew Gold.
