The Experiment - Recap

Dr. Curtis Lindstrom and his aide are boarding an airplane for a press meeting. Lindstrom sees strange behavior out of the workers in the area. He decides to exit the plane. When he and his aide observe the plane, it explodes. His son, Lloyd, despite what he’s seen doesn’t believe his dad about an alien invasion. Nonetheless, Curtis plans to tell his colleagues about the invasion. David hears about Curtis and tries to see him. A priest gives him a ride but the priest ends up being an alien. Vincent fights himself out of the car and finds Mr. Lindstrom. Vincent tells him about his experience. Lindstrom’s son and his friend Paul arrive and break up the meeting. Vincent goes to another LT. for help but the Lt. does nothing but tell him that Mr. Lindstrom checked out of the hospital.

Later Mr. Lindstrom tries to call Vincent but can’t reach. A mysterious man in a suit talks with Lindstrom and tells him that they are taking him to Washington. He says the Doctor’s son told them to come. The government agents are really aliens. They blow their act when one of them asks Lindstrom for the “proof”. Lindstrom didn’t tell anyone about the proof he had. He tries to make a run for it but the aliens rough him up. Later we find out that Lindstrom was murdered. Vincent confronts Lloyd, the son, about what happened. While Lloyd is skeptical at first about the aliens and murder, he believes Vincent.

Lloyd says he will action in the morning. After Vincent leaves, we see Lloyd talking to the alien priest that tried to kill Vincent. It also seems that Lloyd is suffering from violent headaches stemming from contact with aliens. Paul tries to ask Lloyd what pills he is taking for the headaches but Lloyd doesn’t tell him. Vincent visits Lloyd’s apartment and finds all the proof that Dr. Lindstrom had on the aliens. He finds written eyewitness accounts of aliens and finds pictures of the mysterious tubes he saw at the station.

Lloyd calls Vincent who tells him that he is leaving for Washington to talk to a friend in the CIA and blow the lid on the invasion. Lloyd warns the aliens about Vincent’s visit. When Vincent arrives at his friend’s place he discovers it’s a setup. He gets knocked out and the proof he had is stolen. Vincent asks Lloyd why he betrayed his father.

Lloyd tells him it’s no big deal and that they won’t kill him just change his brain patterns.
Vincent undergoes experiments done by the aliens. On second time, however, Lloyd, comes to rescue and disrupts the experiment. Vincent escape but Lloyd dies.
