The Leeches - Recap

Vincent has a meeting with a man named Warren Doneghan, president of Jet Age electronics Doneghan’s head of security is also in the meeting. The men start discussing the invasion. Doneghan reads over the accounts of the men that have been missing or dead since the invasion. Doneghan also reveals that people have been tailgating and spying on him the last few days. Warren feels that he might be kidnapped. He explains to his wife Eve that he might need to leave town. Warren seems to be hiring Vincent as protection. He tells Vincent of his normal route to work.

Vincent decides to do a setup where Warren drives by himself to get the people who want him in the act. However, the plan goes awry when Vincent’s car is mysteriously sabotaged. The car’s engine turns red (reminiscent of the way the aliens glow). Vincent and Warren’s friend, Tom Riley start a search via a helicopter. They first track down the whereabouts of a man Dr. Marcus who says he has had contact with aliens. They listen to a mysterious recording he did.

We see Warren getting interrogated by the aliens. They find a transmitter he had hidden in a chain that’s been used by Vincent to track him. We then see Warren meet Bill Hastings from Cal Tech, one of the missing scientists he mentioned to Vincent. Hastings explained being on a chair that was being used as a mind probe by the aliens. Wiley and Vincent stop to take a break. However, Wiley doesn’t care about Warren. He reveals his selfishness by saying that he will leave and go back to Eve. We go back to the alien lab and see Warren go under the same mind probe that Hastings went through.

Vincent in the middle of valley, Vincent runs into another scientist that was being held by the aliens. The man professor Arthur Millington tells Vincent about what happened but is too scared to tell Vincent where the others are held. Vincent looks for the hideout and we see an alien come out to attack him. Wiley reappears and shoots down the alien. Vincent and Wiley do a daring rescue for Warren and Hastings. Vincent rescues Warren and Hastings but Wiley dies being killed by one of the self-destruct mechanisms used by the aliens. In the epilog, Warren tells Vincent about the investigation happening for the scientists. Vincent is left in the hospital again healing from his wounds.
