In this expository episode, an introduction to the gnome world is given. In particular, we meet two gnomes, David and Lisa. David is a doctor and shares with us two recent times he has been called upon to treat a wounded animal. In the first narration, David had been in Denmark and was needed to remove a piece of wire from a goat. General Gnome Facts
- Classification: There are five types of gnomes: forest, dune, garden, house, and Siberian.
- Weight: Females weigh about 250 grams (9 ounces) and males weigh about 300 grams (11 ounces).
- Height: Gnomes are 15 cm (6 inches) tall, about the size of an ice cream cone.
- Strength: Are seven times stronger than a human being.
- Always have children only once and they are always twins

- Live for hundreds of years
