Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons was a childrens sci-fi series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. The show was set in the year 2068 and mainly featured an operative from the international organisation Spectrum, named Captain Scarlet, who had been made indestructable during a battle against a mysterious Martian enemy called the Mysterons .
