The main sketch ideas are as follows: Benjamin arrives to stay in Royston Vasey with his aunt Val and uncle Harvey; the Local Shop has some visitors, who strangely disappear; we get our first glimpse of the Job Centre and Pauline, the restart officer; Geoff, Brian, and Mike, three co-workers at plastics factory, go for a drink and a joke at the local; and the vet, Mr. Chinnery, sees his first on-screen patient.
