Young pup Jim Hawkins is given a treasure map laden with riddles and clues which once belong to pirate Flint by his father. Forced to flee his home from pirates, Jim sets out on a quest to find the treasure. After forming a crew, they begin to solve the first riddle but then their ship, the Hispanola is attacked by pirates led by Long John Silver and they are taken captive.

Analysis
  
As mentioned on the general information, this is the only episode based on the novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. The plot is based on the book keeping all the characters and some elements such as The Black Spot. However, in this episode Jim is given the map by his father as opposed to Billy Bones and Pew is given a larger role in the programme and appears to be a sorcerer. The only new addition is Jane, an exclusive character to the series.
