Season 1
1 :01x01 - Gets Lost In Space (Sep/10/1994)
Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children to the local planetarium in order to learn about the solar system, though when she finds that the place is closed, she decides to turn the magic school bus into a rocket and the class heads out into outer space to learn as much as they can firsthand. However, a guest to the classroom named Janet is starting to lose her composure, as she doesn’t think it’s possible for them to have actually gone into outer space.
 
2 :01x02 - For Lunch (Sep/17/1994)
Arnold has always disliked going on Ms. Frizzle’s fieldtrips, so when he discovers that he’s permitted to stay behind at the classroom during the next one, he becomes ecstatic. However, when Ms. Frizzle gets the magic school bus to shrink down so that they can go to their planned destination, Arnold inadvertently eats the class and they’re forced to navigate through Arnold’s body in order to try to get out before it’s time to go home.
 
3 :01x03 - Inside Ralphie (Sep/24/1994)
Ralphie has been looking forward to this particular day because it’s his turn to host the class’s Frizzle News Network, a television broadcast on all things health related. However, when he suddenly develops a terrible fever, he convinces Ms. Frizzle to let him host the show from his bedroom; Ms. Frizzle agrees, though she has her own plans in order to help Ralphie get his health back.
 
4 :01x04 - Gets Eaten (Oct/01/1994)
The class was paired together for a homework assignment, in which they had to bring two items that were related to one another, though Arnold and Keesha forget about the assignment. In a last moment effort, all the two could come up with was a tuna fish sandwich and an old, soggy boot, though when Ms. Frizzle claims to see a wonderful connection between the two, she decides to take the class on a fieldtrip in order to show her what she means.
 
5 :01x05 - Hops Home (Oct/08/1994)
Wanda is upset because her pet frog has jumped out of the bus’s window on their way to school. When Ms. Frizzle hears news of this, she decides to take the class on a fieldtrip, in which she turns the magic school bus into the form of a frog and they start to search the local swamps in hopes of finding why her pet frog decided to run away.
 
6 :01x06 - Meets The Rot Squad (Oct/15/1994)
Ms. Frizzle ahs decided to hold an assignment where the students are required to bring in some rotting food that has been accidentally spoiled at their homes. However, when one of the students protests to the assignment through claiming that rotting has no value at all, Ms. Frizzle decides to take the class on a fieldtrip in order to show them just has valuable rotting is on the ecosystem.
 
7 :01x07 - All Dried Up (Oct/22/1994)
When Phoebe hears news that all of the animals in the desert go weeks and sometimes months without getting any water to drink, she convinces Ms. Frizzle to take the class to the desert so that they can help the animals out. Ms. Frizzle agrees, though she has her own plans in store to prove to Phoebe that the animals are better off fending for themselves.
 
8 :01x08 - In The Haunted House (Oct/29/1994)
Ms. Frizzle decides to take the class on a fieldtrip to a sound museum, though it turns out to be an old, rotting mansion. However, Ms. Frizzle expresses that it’s actually the best place to look at sound, in which she gives all of the students a special device that can actually permit them to see sound waves. The class reluctantly agrees to go inside of the mansion, though they soon discover that it’s not designed as any mansion should have been.

9 :01x09 - Gets Ready, Set, Dough (Nov/05/1994)
Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children on a fieldtrip to a nearby bakery in order to show them how exactly cakes are created. However, when the magic school bus’s shrinker-scope malfunctions, the class finds themselves put on a cake and placed into the oven, so Ms. Frizzle must get the children safely out of the oven before the temperatures become too high.
 
10 :01x10 - Plays Ball (Nov/12/1994)
Ms. Frizzle decides to combine Dorothy Ann’s love of physics and Ralphie’s love of baseball in order to take the class on an exciting fieldtrip. She gets onboard the magic school bus along with the class and it enters a mystical world in order to show the children what a baseball game would be like without the laws of physics.
 
11 :01x11 - Goes To Seed (Nov/19/1994)
Ms. Frizzle’s class was selected to have their garden featured on the cover of a nature magazine, though Phoebe is upset because her plant doesn’t seem to be growing. In order to gain as much knowledge from the problem as possible, Ms. Frizzle takes the children on a fieldtrip where the magic school bus shrinks down to the size of a ladybug, in which they enter Phoebe’s plant in order to see what the problem is.
 
12 :01x12 - Gets Ants In The Pants (Nov/26/1994)
Keesha was selected to direct a movie about social animals for the school’s science fair, though she isn’t certain which animals she should feature. When Ms. Frizzle suggests ants, Keesha disregards her advice, as she feels that ants are certainly aren’t social creatures. In order to prove her wrong, Ms. Frizzle takes the class on a fieldtrip where they head down into an anthill in order to see what ants are like firsthand.
 
13 :01x13 - Kicks Up A Storm (Dec/03/1994)
Ralphie is upset because it’s so horribly hot and he wishes that it would go ahead and rain. Ms. Frizzle takes his comments to heart and she decides to take the class on a fieldtrip in order to soar through the skies and to forge the proper conditions that would cause it to start raining. However, they soon discover that nature is a complicating thing and that the conditions need to be perfect in order to get the outcome that they desire.
 

Season 2
14 :02x01 - Blows Its Top (Sep/09/1995)
The children in Ms. Frizzle’s class have been completing a map that documents the entire world, though Ms. Frizzle tells them that they’re missing a piece of their puzzle. She explains that she knows of an island that hasn’t been discovered yet and she agrees to take the children on a fieldtrip in order to go and explore it, though when they arrive at the island, they discover that it isn’t exactly what they had anticipated.
 
15 :02x02 - Flexes Its Muscles (Sep/16/1995)
Ms. Frizzle takes the children to a repair facility in order to show them how exactly certain vehicles and robotics are repaired, though Ralphie has other plans in mind. Sick and tired of being forced to perform chores by his parents, he decides to build a robotic replica that would gladly do the chores in his stead, though Ms. Frizzle and the rest of the class decides to help him in order to show the class what exactly muscles and joints inside of the human body are used for.
 
16 :02x03 - The Busasaurus (Sep/23/1995)
Ms. Frizzle decides to take the class to a archeological dig in hopes of discovering some dinosaur bones, though the class has a lot of questions on what the dinosaurs were actually like. Ms. Frizzle tells the class to board the magic school bus and she takes the children back sixty-seven million years in order to show the children what exactly the dinosaurs were like, though things take a turn for the worse when Arnold’s dinosaur egg that he found gets snatched by a tyrannosaurus rex.
 
17 :02x04 - Going Batty (Sep/30/1995)
Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children on a special nighttime fieldtrip in order to discover more about bats, in which they go and visit an old castle where many species of bats are known to live. However, Ralphie soon starts to believe that Ms. Frizzle is a vampire and he begins to formulate a plan to reveal her for the menace that she is.

18 :02x05 - Butterfly And The Bog Beast (Oct/07/1995)
The children need a new mascot for their soccer team and they decide to permit each of the students to suggest a name. However, when Phoebe suggests that the class uses a butterfly, the children all laugh at her idea and they’re more interested in Janet’s suggestion: the bog beast. Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children on a fieldtrip to a nearby swamp in order to show them just what exactly butterflies are capable of, though she also hopes to reveal to them what the bog beast actually is.

19 :02x06 - Wet All Over (Oct/14/1995)
When Arnold and Wanda are told to do a report on the town’s waterworks, Ms. Frizzle thinks that the children would be better off learning about water on a personal level. Once the children board the magic school bus, it turns into a water droplet and the children find themselves being carried through the water cycle as they get evaporated and ultimately thrown back down to Earth. However, they discover that they won’t be able to turn back to normal if they don’t manage to obtain an item that is locked in the school’s bathroom.
 
20 :02x07 - In A Pickle (Oct/21/1995)
When Keesha returns to school from her vacation, she discovers that her prized cucumber has been replaced with an old pickle, in which she immediately accuses Ms. Frizzle as being the thief. Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children on a fieldtrip that will permit them to shrink in size and investigate the pickle first hand, though what Keesha discovers shocks her.
 
21 :02x08 - Revving Up (Oct/28/1995)
The magic school bus is in bad shape, as something is preventing it from working. When it fails the school’s annual inspection, Ms. Frizzle asks the children to help her shrink down in size and to go inside of the bus in order to see what the problem is. They agree to help out, though with the tow-truck on its way, they’ll need to work fast in order to get their beloved bus granted permission to keep working at the school.
 
22 :02x09 - Taking Flight (Nov/04/1995)
When the remote control of Tim’s electronic airplane breaks, Ms. Frizzle decides to shrink the class down so that they can get aboard the airplane and to actually fly it around themselves. However, the children don’t have long as they’ll need to get back in time to compete in an airplane rally, though will their gained knowledge through this fieldtrip actually permit them to do better than they would have?
 
23 :02x10 - Getting Energized (Nov/11/1995)
The children are dismayed when they find that the best ride at the carnival is out of order due to an electrical problem. However, when Carlos’ younger brother shows up and informs them that there are other ways to get electricity, Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children on a fieldtrip in hopes of actually applying some different forms of electricity in order to get the ride back in working condition.
 
24 :02x11 - Out Of This World (Nov/18/1995)
When Dorothy Ann discovers that an asteroid is on a collision course with planet Earth, and ultimately Walkerville Elementary School, Ms. Frizzle and the class decide to take a fieldtrip into outer space in hopes of changing the asteroid’s course before it’s too late.
 
25 :02x12 - Cold Feet (Nov/25/1995)
Ms. Frizzle’s class is upset that Liz has gone missing, though they eventually discover that she has went to a place known as Herp Haven. Ms. Frizzle decides to let the children go to the establishment in hopes of finding Liz, though they’ll need to be transformed into reptiles first, as the establishment only permits reptiles to gain entry.
 
26 :02x13 - Ups And Downs (Dec/02/1995)
When a news story breaks out that a sea serpent exists in the depths of Walkerville Lake, Wanda wants to be the first to try to discover it. Ms. Frizzle agrees to take the children on a fieldtrip underneath the lake’s surface, though when the magic school bus refuses to go underwater, they must try to figure out what the problem is so that they can continue their adventure.
 

Season 3
27 :03x01 - In A Beehive (Sep/14/1996)
Tim decides to help his grandfather out by delivering some jars of honey to several customers, though he accidentally drops the jars and they all bust. He decides that he’ll just get some more honey from some different bees, though Ms. Frizzle decides to turn her class into bees in order to take a fieldtrip inside of a beehive.
 
28 :03x02 - In The Arctic (Sep/21/1996)
When Arnold’s hot cocoa loses its heat, he asks Ms. Frizzle where the heat went. In hopes of answering his question, Ms. Frizzle takes the class on a fieldtrip to the North Pole. However, once the bus arrives at the desired location, the engine begins to freeze and the children must try to figure out how to get the bus working again.
 
29 :03x03 - Spins A Web (Sep/28/1996)
Ms. Frizzle decides to take her class on a fieldtrip inside of an old movie that they were watching, as they wish to try to save a giant praying mantis from being destroyed by the military. However, they aren’t certain how exactly they’re going to capture the praying mantis, though Ms. Frizzle soon gives them an idea that involves some of the world’s smallest creatures.
 
30 :03x04 - Under Construction (Oct/05/1996)
Ms. Frizzle’s class is currently shrunk down inside of Wanda’s bathroom, though when they hear Wanda’s mother coming, they must try to escape before they are seen. Grabbing whatever materials they can, Ms. Frizzles coordinates the groups efforts as they learn how to build a solid structure so that they can climb it to escape, though things take a turn for the worse then they discover that Wanda’s mother keeps an alligator in the bathtub.
 
31 :03x05 - Gets A Bright Idea (Oct/12/1996)
When Arnold and his cousin Janet go missing, Ms. Frizzle takes the class to an old theater as she believes the two have wondered off there to work on their performance. However, the place has been abandoned for quite some time and there’s no working light in the facility, so Ms. Frizzle decides to turn her class into beams of light so they can shoot around the theater and find them as quickly as possible.
 
32 :03x06 - Shows And Tells (Oct/19/1996)
Arnold and Dorothy Ann were selected to represent Ms. Frizzle’s class in a show and tell competition, though the object that Arnold has brought to the show is too mysterious for him to even know what it is. Ms. Frizzle brings out a device that can permit people to know if their guesses are accurate or not, so the class decides to pool together their thoughts in order to come up with the best guesses as to what the strange object actually is.
 
33 :03x07 - Makes A Rainbow (Oct/26/1996)
Ms. Frizzle decides to shrink her class down in order to let them get inside of a pinball game in hopes of witnessing what is taking place first hand. The children must try to move the balls in a fashion that activates nodes that represent the colors of the rainbow, though along the way they learn what exactly color are made of and how the spectrum of light is divided.
 
34 :03x08 - Goes Upstream (Nov/02/1996)
Ralphie wants to capture some salmon in hopes of cooking them up for the school picnic, though all of the salmon have gone missing and Ralphie asks Ms. Frizzle what has happened to them. Instead of telling him, Ms. Frizzle decides to take the group on a fieldtrip and the magic school bus transforms into a salmon, though as soon as it does, they realize that the bus is no longer in their control as it only wants to move upstream.
 
35 :03x09 - Works Out (Nov/09/1996)
Ms. Frizzle is in a teacher competition that requires her to compete in several physical tests. However, when the children start to realize that something is wrong with Ms. Frizzle after the second event, they decide to get into the magic school bus and head down inside of her body in hopes of fixing whatever internal problems she has.
 
36 :03x10 - Gets Planted (Nov/16/1996)
When Phoebe’s plant fails to grow to its full height, jeopardizing her plans to use the plant in a school play, Ms. Frizzle decides to turn Phoebe into a plant in order to see if she’ll have better luck growing. However, Phoebe will first need to figure out how plants eat, though since the play is going to start soon, she doesn’t have long and she’ll need to work fast.
 
37 :03x11 - In The Rain Forest (Nov/23/1996)
The children try to get a cocoa tree from the rainforest in hopes of presenting it to Ms. Frizzle as an Earth Day present. However, when they arrive at the rainforest, they discover that none of the cocoa trees are producing their beans and that the individual in charge of the plants may accidentally be the one who is responsible. In hopes of figuring out the truth, Tim and Dorothy Ann decide to become private investigators and they start to look around the rainforest in hopes of solving the cocoa bean mystery.
 
38 :03x12 - Rocks And Rolls (Nov/30/1996)
Ms. Frizzle has taken her class onto a mountaintop so they can work on their statue of the city’s founding father, as it’s a holiday to celebrate his honor. However, when an avalanche takes place, the children all get onboard the bus in hopes of saving the statue in order to get it to the festival, though Ms. Frizzle’s idea of turning the bus into a giant boulder may put the safety of their statue in jeopardy.
 
39 :03x13 - The Family Holiday Special (Dec/25/1996)
While on her way to participate in a rendition of the Nutcracker, Wanda first wants to stop off and recycle some goods that her mother told her to drop off. However, when the toy soldier she was supposed to bring to the play accidentally gets recycled, she wishes for a world where nothing ever got recycled. Ms. Fizzle reluctantly agrees to show Wanda what the world would be like without recycling, though as soon as she does, the magic school bus vanishes from sight as it was made with recycled goods. Now, the class must work together with Ms. Fizzle in an attempt to rebuild the magic school bus and undo the damage that Wanda had done, all the while learning of the importance of recycling and the value it has in our world.
 

Season 4
40 :04x01 - Meets Molly Cule (Sep/13/1997)
Wanda’s favorite singer has come to town and she insists that Ms. Frizzle’s class be the one to wash her car. The children start to do the best they can, though when they learn that they’ve missed a spot, Ms. Frizzle shrinks the class down to the size of molecules in order to see what exactly they need to do in order to ensure the car is as clean as possible.
 
41 :04x02 - Cracks A Yolk (Sep/20/1997)
When Mr. Ruhle goes away on a business trip, he leaves his beloved pet chicken in Dorothy Ann’s care. However, when she neglects her duty and the chicken flies away, she must try to find another chicken in order to take the old chicken’s place. However, she doesn’t know where chickens come from, so Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children on a fieldtrip in order to see how chickens are hatched from their eggs.
 
42 :04x03 - Goes To Mussel Beach (Sep/27/1997)
While spending some time at the beach, Ms. Frizzle receives a letter from her uncle and she is asked to look over some of his beachfront property for a few hours. However, when the children arrive at the property, they discover that it’s just a small slab of dirt and that nothing could find the land useful, though Ms. Frizzle decides to transform the class into something that could really use the land her uncle owns.
 
43 :04x04 - Goes On Air (Oct/04/1997)
The rest of the students at Walkerville Elementary School are upset that the students of Ms. Frizzle’s class have only contributed an empty jar to the Walkerville Space Capsule. When Ralphie confronts Ms. Frizzle in an attempt to convince her to change her mind, Ms. Frizzle decides to take the children on a fieldtrip in order to show the class just how important air is in the world.
 
44 :04x05 - Gets Swamped (Oct/11/1997)
The city council is contemplating destroying an old swamp in order to build a new shopping mall, though Ms. Frizzle sends Carlos to the council in order to try to debate the reason that the swamp should be left alone. However, it takes a natural disaster for the council to make up their mind, though even in such, Ms. Frizzle must try to do what she can in order to prevent raging waters from destroying the city.
 
45 :04x06 - Goes Cell-Ular (Oct/18/1997)
Arnold is about to become the first child to ever win a prestigious award at the Granite Awards Ceremony. However, when he suddenly turns orange a few hours before the event, Ms. Frizzle decides to get the children onboard the magic school bus and they head inside of Arnold in hopes of trying to get him back to normal before its his turn to accept his award.
 
46 :04x07 - Sees Stars (Oct/25/1997)
The children decide to purchase a star from an official network that permits people to buy and name new stars, though the children wish to head off into outer space in order to determine which star to buy. They eventually make their choice and they purchase the star, though when the star explodes moments after they buy it, Ms. Frizzle must attempt to find a way to show them that their investment wasn’t actually a bad one.
 
47 :04x08 - Gains Weight (Nov/01/1997)
When Phoebe is selected for a slam-dunk competition, she starts to express that she feels things would be better without gravity. Ms. Frizzle decides to show her what things would be like with different levels of gravity and she takes the students into outer space, where the magic school bus transforms into an entire planet where the level of gravity can be adjusted. However, things take a turn for the worse when the knob is actually turned all the way to super-gravity, which not only causes things to way a ton, it also severely hinders the students ability to move.
 
48 :04x09 - Makes A Stink (Nov/08/1997)
An expert on smells has some to the school in order to judge a competition where the students were requested to make a favorable smell, though Janet decides to sabotage the odor that Ms. Frizzle’s class has cooked up. They must now try to figure out what causes the unpleasant smell, as well as to find a way to remove it, as the judge is coming close to their booth and they don’t have long to get their stench back to the pleasant odor it once was.
 
49 :04x10 - Gets Charged (Nov/15/1997)
While trying to sell some light bulbs on Valentine’s Day, the children stop at Ms. Frizzle’s house in an attempt to sell some to her. Though when they overhear Ms. Frizzle inviting someone over to her house, they attempt to fix her broken doorbell as they’re afraid that Ms. Frizzle won’t even realize the individual is outside. However, they’re unfamiliar with how to fix doorbells and they require some help from the magic school bus in order to gain the ability to get up-close and personal with the problem.
 
50 :04x11 - Gets Programmed (Nov/22/1997)
Ms. Frizzle’s class has agreed to open up the school for the principal, who is still away on a business trip. However, when they discover that there’s too much work to do, Mikey decides to program the school’s computer to automatically do the chores for them. In hopes of showing the children how computers work, Ms. Frizzle takes the children on a surprise fieldtrip inside of the computer, though when things start to malfunction, they must fine Mikey in an attempt to get things restored to their proper condition.
 
51 :04x12 - In The City (Nov/29/1997)
Ms. Frizzle’s class is visiting a zoo when Tim expresses that the zoo is the only place where wild animals can live in the city. Ms. Frizzle wishes to test his hypothesis so she turns the entire class into a wide array of animals, though will they be able to survive in the midst of the city, or will Tim’s comments turn out to be true?
 
52 :04x13 - Takes A Dive (Dec/06/1997)
When it is revealed that one of Ms. Frizzle’s ancestors was a famous pirate, Wanda decides to convince Ms. Frizzle to try to find the treasure that her ancestor left behind. Ms. Frizzle agrees and the children head off on a treasure hunt, though in order to get down to the ocean floor, Ms. Frizzle transforms the students into various aquatic animals. However, they soon realize that they’ll have to rely on one another and many of the existing plants and animals in the ocean’s depths if they wish to survive long enough to even come close to the old pirate ship.
